About the Founder

Jason Coleman

Jason began his 21 year federal career as a Peace Corps Volunteer, having served in Gabon from 2001-2003 and as a Crisis Corps Volunteer in Namibia from 2004-2005. Before the Department of State, he worked at the Peace Corps Headquarters in Washington DC for 8 years as a Budget Analyst, and two years as the Director of Management and Operations in Togo, West Africa. For the last 10 years, Jason has worked in the Office of Budget and Planning (BP) as a Budget Analyst for Financial Systems, the Deputy Budget Officer in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, and currently works as the Acting Budget Director for Near Eastern Affairs and South-Central Asia.  Jason was recently the winner of the Department's Chief Financial Officer for Distinction in Public Finance for his work on the Afghanistan evacuation, and holds over an additional 12 distinct Department awards.  Away from work, Jason runs the over 30,000 member Facebook Group FedFam, which focuses on providing a dedicated space where members can find the resources they need to thrive in their federal employment positions.

Love Rutledge serves as the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Readiness. She's spent 23 years working in federal government and holds a master's degree in public administration from The George Washington University, and a master's of science in resource strategy from the Eisenhower School at the National Defense University. She's an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach and a certified Scrum Master. Love joined the FedFam family as a contributing partner earlier this year.  
 

Love grew up in rural Alabama before heading to Tulane University to earn an undergraduate degree. She and her husband, Josh,.have two children.
